Untangled streets, city-wide,
you and I, on a Sunday drive.
Stolen glances, smiling eyes,
all clear skies, in summer light.
Untinted windows, mirrors aligned,
door unlocked on the passenger side.
The radio sings, the engine sighs,
humming along to lyric and rhyme.
Lost and found (with a GPS guide):
two kindred souls, each other's lives.
Switching gears, biding time,
traffic jams to stretch goodbyes.
Two moving people set to collide,
which will be first to arrive?
